A Sewwy new year

A new year, a new blog, and a personal challenge to complete a sewing project every month. I'm also trying to teach myself Arabic, learn how to use my new camera as well as doing all the normal mum of two stuff. January's sewing project is to make a quilted coverlet for my bed out of some old fire damaged bedding. I'm going to be very good and set a reminder to try and update this blog at least once a fortnight, but if anything else takes my interest I may add to that. So here's to the challenge, here's to actually completing projects and here's to a new year full of lovely hand sewn projects.
